Information we collect
The app manages the visibility of storefront navigation menu items across different markets and languages. To provide this, we collect and store the following information at the store level:
- Your shop's domain (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com)
- The structure of your store's navigation menus — items, titles, and URLs — as needed to configure visibility rules
- The markets and languages configured in your Shopify admin
- The visibility rules you create for each market and language
- Your subscription plan and its active status, used for billing and feature access
We access this information through Shopify's Admin API, using only the access scopes you approve at installation.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect, store, or process any personal data belonging to your customers or storefront visitors — no names, email addresses, order history, payment details, or browsing behavior. The app works entirely with store-level configuration data, never with individual customer records.
How we use this information
We use the information above only to:
- Display your menu structure and markets inside the app
- Apply your visibility rules to your storefront through a theme app embed
- Enforce the limits of your selected plan
- Provide support when you contact us
- Maintain and improve the app
We never sell, rent, or share this information for marketing purposes.
Data storage and hosting
App data is hosted on infrastructure provided by Render (render.com), including application hosting and the underlying database. Render may process data on servers outside your country and maintains its own security and compliance practices.
Data retention and deletion
We retain store-level configuration data for as long as the app stays installed. If you uninstall it, data is kept for up to 48 hours to allow reinstallation without loss, then permanently deleted — in line with Shopify's mandatory shop/redact webhook.
Compliance with data protection laws
Because we hold no customer personal data, requests made through Shopify's customers/data_request and customers/redact webhooks return or delete nothing, as none exists. Requests through shop/redact delete all store-level configuration tied to your shop, as described in Section 6.
If you're located in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection laws, you may have additional rights over any data we hold. Contact us using the details in Section 1 to exercise them.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect this information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top will change whenever we do. We encourage you to check back periodically.
